GIPCL - Vadodara has received NATIONAL AWARDS FOR MERITORIOUS PERFORMANCE for the years 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 for their Combined Cycle Power Plants at Vadodara. The awards are constituted by The Ministry of Power and The Central Electricity Authority.
The Bronze Shields were presented by The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh during a glittering function on 21-03-2007 at New Delhi. GIPCL Chairman Smt. Vijaylaxmi Joshi, IAS and Managing Director Shri L.Chuaungo, IAS along with Executive Director (Tech.) Shri D.G.Naik received these awards for consecutive 2 years on behalf of the Company.
